Introduction

I would like to introduce myself, Eppie Steyn (a staunch Stormers fan), and I am related by default to two Blue Bulls, namely Thys and Abrie du Preez (now living in Paarl). I am involved in agriculture and over a number of years I have developed a very keen interest in wine. During 1994 I, along with a few friends, started farming with deciduous fruit in the Villiersdorp area. A few years later we acquired another 50 hectares and planted approximately 18 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot. Fruit-wise we are Europgap and Nature's Choice approved, and I proudly invite anyone to visit one of the neatest farms in the Cape.

On a warm summer's day in 2004, while enjoying a glass of good wine, Thys, Abrie and myself decided that we would like to make our own exclusive wine, which we would make available to our good friends, and so the journey began...
